Who we are
Croquet Booking is a website operated by Campbell Morrison, a private individual based in the UK, for the benefit of croquet clubs worldwide. Each club has its own section on the website and users cannot access a club’s section unless they are authorised by that club.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it
User details
Users must be registered with Croquet Booking by their clubs in order to be able to use the system. The minimum personal data required is name and email address. This data is necessary so that we and your club know who you are and to enable us to send you email notifications of bookings you make.
Clubs may choose to enter additional personal data for their own purposes so that they can use the system as a membership database. Examples of such data are telephone numbers, postal addresses, membership category, croquet handicaps, refereeing qualifications, committee responsibilities, whether you hold a key to the club, etc. Consult your club officials for further details.
Booking details
When you make a booking this data will be held on the system so that your fellow club members know who has made the booking.
Contact forms
If you complete a contact form on the site, for example requesting that your club be added to the system, then your name, email address and optionally other contact details will be collected so that we can contact you to discuss your request further.
Club representatives
The names and contact details of club representatives are collected so that we can communicate with you about the system.
Who we share your data with
Your data is only shared with the authorised representatives of your club, unless we are required to share it with statutory or regulatory authorities and organisations to comply with statutory obligations.
We may also share personal information with our professional and legal advisors for the purposes of taking advice.
In the event that we do share personal information with external third parties, we will only share such personal information strictly required for the specific purposes and take reasonable steps to ensure that recipients shall only process the disclosed personal information in accordance with those purposes.
How long we retain your data
Your user details and bookings are kept for as long as they are required by your club. Consult your club officials for further details.
All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
You can exercise any of the following rights in the first instance by contacting your club representative. In the event that you do not achieve a satisfactory result you can write to us at privacy@croquetbooking.com.
Your rights in relation to your personal information are:
- you have a right to request access to the personal information that we hold about you by making a “subject access request”;
- if you believe that any of your personal information is inaccurate or incomplete, you have a right to request that we correct or complete your personal information;
- you have a right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal information for specific purposes; and
- if you wish us to delete your personal information, you may request that we do so.
Any requests received by Croquet Booking will be considered under applicable data protection legislation. If you remain dissatisfied, you have a right to raise a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at www.ico.org.uk.
